Just a little update to those who care. I am alive. I am the red rope (student squadron leader) at tech school. I am growing in my leadership ability so much it's hard to describe. I made a great decision joining the military. I am working hard and enjoying the success that accompanies focused hard work. So far I haven't gotten my first duty assignment, but it will very likely be overseas based on recent patterns. I'll let ya'll know how things go (as an aside, since i've been living in the South, I've started saying "ya'll").
